I'm your design × business hybrid: UI/UX designer with a BBA in Design Strategy & Management, comfortable building with AI and a little code of my own. I spend more time on empty states and edge cases than on hero shots — that's usually where a product actually falls apart.
Ambiguous, half-defined problems are the ones I get handed most — a brief that reads like three different features stitched together. I run the research, push back on scope where it doesn't hold up, and stay involved through implementation instead of handing off a file and moving on.
The details most people skip are the ones I notice first: empty states, error copy, what a form does when someone tabs through it instead of clicking. That's usually where a product feels careless, or doesn't.

Critique and iteration happen with engineering and product already in the room. A "finished" file presented as a surprise just means the surprise happens later, mid-sprint.
A v1 that's 90% right and live beats a perfect mockup nobody's used yet. I'd rather find out what's wrong from real usage than keep guessing in Figma.
What that looks like on a real project
Prepared for the NID entrance exam for the M.Des in Design Strategy & Management, then enrolled in the Executive PG Certification in UI/UX Design at iHub DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee, applying the training through freelance work and self-directed concept projects.
New Delhi, India · On-site. Designed the landing page, navigation, product, and category pages, plus the mobile app, for 2323 Designs' Shopify-to-StoreHippo migration — onboarding vendors, coordinating with the dev team, and running a SWOT and competitor analysis of six sustainable e-commerce brands.
Gurugram, India · On-site. Created the design brief and kickoff deck for Desmania's redesign, benchmarked against IDEO, McKinsey & Company, Accenture, and Tata Elxsi, then designed the information architecture, sitemap, and interactive prototypes for the Homepage, Career, Work, and Info pages — validated through UX research with people both familiar and unfamiliar with the brand.
Kolkata, India · Remote. Conducted a market and SWOT analysis of OHD's ed-tech client Aerobay against BYJU'S, Unacademy, and Vedantu, then built proto-personas and research screeners for students, parents, and educators to inform a mobile-first positioning strategy.
